AUSSIE BONDS: A quiet start for the space this week, after futures followed Tsys
lower on Friday on the back of strong headline NFP & ISM M'fing data out of the
U.S.
- YM trades 2.5 ticks lower on the day, with XM 3.5 ticks lower. YM/XM last
trades at 49.00, with the cash equivalent trading at 47.9bp. Bills trading 1-3
ticks lower through the reds at writing. RBA repo ops saw A$2.035bn dealt at
2.032% in a 16-day operation.
- Melbourne Institute inflation data is due at the top of the hour, along with
an XMH9 basket bond. Focus also on the findings from the Royal Commission
enquiry into the banking sector due at some point today.
