US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: A risk-on tone was noted on Monday, with Tsys holding near their
lows by the close, with the curve sitting flatter on the day as 3-Year paper
underperformed.
- It was back to watching headlines with prosaic US data releases due through
the week & the Fed in blackout ahead Jun 13 FOMC MonPol decision.
- Two-way trade was noted despite the sell off, on the back of two-way curve
trades & corporate supply hedging.
- Tsys' correlation to Bunds/Gilts in reaction to Italian yields continued
through day.
- The Eurodollar strip went out at/near session lows.
- US T-Notes last at 119.14+, US 10-Year Tsy yields closed at 2.942%.
