GOLD: A subdued start to the week in the precious metal with the price grinding
off its Asian low ($1266.15) in the European morning.
The arrival of NY witnessed YEN and AUD demand, the yellow metal followed suit
printing fresh session highs of $1273.24 before fading as US Tsys yields firmed.
- Bullion received a small lift in a very dull session, as the price spiked to
fresh session highs of $1274.42 before fading.
- As oil spiked and the US dollar dropped bullion followed suit, with the
precious metal jumping to session highs of $1283.04. The move was in reaction to
reports of enemies within the Saudi royal family over corruption probe. 
-Gold had very little pullback towards the NY close with the rate staying above
$1280.00.
