A very quiet session in Europe spilled over...>

FOREX
FOREX: A very quiet session in Europe spilled over into New York. The greenback
remained in demand following Friday's recovery after the release of weak NFP on
Friday. A sharp turn in the dollar as commodities rallied going into the NY
afternoon session saw pressure on USD across the board.
-Aussie: Persistent cross demand (predominantly eur-aud) drove the pair to
session highs of $0.7667 in early NY.
- The greenback fell sharply as commodities rallied, the rate printed session
highs of $0.7682
-Yen: Briefly made a show under Y114.00, touched Y113.96 before meeting support
from the session low of Y113.95. US Tsys yields firmed pushing the rate back
over Y114.10.
- The pair dropped sharply as XAU and Oil spiked printing lows of Y113.75
-Euro: The dollar continued to put weight on the pair in early NY with the rate
testing the support of the Oct 27 low of $1.1575.
- A spike in XAU and oil in-reaction to a probe and investigation into the Saudi
royal family witnessed the rate jump above $1.1610.
