ACGB Issuance Eyed, Insulated From Flattening In Tsys

Aussie bond futures were not subjected to the same flattening pressure as U.S. Tsys during SYCOM hours, with YM -0.5 and XM unchanged at typing, holding tight ranges since the re-open.

  • Bills unchanged to -1 through the reds, on very light volumes.
  • A$1.7bn worth of ACGB 1.00% 21 December 2030 supply is due today, as is the latest Westpac leading index reading.
  • Elsewhere, participants will look to see if the RBA resumes its ACGB purchases today.
