Aker BP To Submit Development Plans For Oil, Gas Projects

Aker BP is planning to submit developments plans for approval to the Norwegian energy ministry for several oil and gas projects, the company said.

  • Aker BP will seek approval for the NOAKA field development, the Valhall PWP-Fenris project, the Skarv Satellite Project and Utsira High.
  • "Net to Aker BP, the oil and gas resources in the projects are estimated to approximately 730 million barrels of oil equivalent," the company said.
  • Aker BP’s board had approved a plan to invest about $19bn to develop new oil and gas fields between 2023 and 2028.
