AUSSIE BONDS: Another choppy session in the US, with the rollercoaster ride
continuing as equities rebounded late into the US close. Treasuries lost ground,
and Aussie bond futures followed suit, as the 3-/10-Year curve steepened 4bp
back to 73bp on long-end underperformance.
- Aussie bond futures closed well under session VWAPs (YMH8 last 81 vs 83 vwap,
XMH8 last 12.5 vs 16 vwap).
- AU/US 10-Year spread last at 10bps, with talk of dip buyers seen on any move
back into single digits.
- Strong 2020 Aussie bond auction should support demand in early trade
- YMH8 intraday options 78/81.
