ANZ Data Shows Weak July For Retail; Melbourne Bounceback

AUSTRALIA

ANZ noted that their observed spending shows a "very weak month for retail trade in July and we expect to see another negative result in the ABS retail data. The bounceback in Melbourne spending has been rapid, with post-lockdown spending (28-31 July) 54% higher than the corresponding days in the previous week."
