Asia’s physical middle distillate markets saw an uptick of trading June 25 and more upbeat physical discussions, according to Reuters.

  • The market is expected to lengthen in the near-term as some refineries return from maintenance in July and August.
  • However, this may be offset by some rising buying interest in the region, Reuters added.
  • Jet fuel markets in Asia continue to be weighed on by a closed arbitrage to Europe, although an improving Asia-US West Coast arbitrage is supportive.
