Donald Trump suggested that bilateral trade could triple following a new
post-Brexit deal. 
- The UK and US leaders clashed on their views of whether the NHS should be a
topic of discussion in bilateral trade talks - a politically contentious topic
in the UK.  
- The frontrunner in the Conservative leadership race, Boris Johnson, has
reportedly turned down the chance of a private meeting with President Trump.   
- The Sep-19 gilt future trades at 129.64, down 32 ticks from Monday's close and
trading near worst levels; L-H: 129.6-130.15
- Gilts have sold off with yields 3-4bps higher on the day. Cash yields (Last /
1d chg / L..H): 2Y (0.5965% / +3bp / 0.5822%...0.5984%); 5Y (0.6459% / +3.6bp /
0.6307%...0.6471%); 10Y (0.8962% / +3.6bp / 0.8819%...0.8979%); 30Y (1.4828% /

- The short sterling futures strip has steepened: W (- 0.5/1.5 ticks); R (-
1.0/2.0 ticks); G (- 2.0/3.0 ticks); B (- 3.0 ticks).
