AUD/EUR: Firms On Improving Sentiment, Gains Capped at 20-Day EMA

After recovering above the €0.61 handle in recent dealing, gains extended yesterday as risk sentiment boosted the pair. For now gains have been capped at the 20-Day EMA (€0.6153).

  • The pair rose ~0.6% on Tuesday and last prints at €0.6150/55. We now sit ~2% above lows seen in late June.
  • Bulls now look to break the high from 21 June at €0.6227 which opens up the 200-Day EMA (€0.6299).
  • Bears look to break below the low from June 28 (€0.6041) which opens up year to date lows at €0.5959. €0.5867 the 50% retracement of the 2020-2022 Bull leg is the next downside support level.
