AUD

AUD/GBP marginally extended cycle lows yesterday, the pair fell ~0.7% from Asian session highs as BOE Chief Economist Pill noted that latest data shows more persistent inflation.

  • In early dealing on Tuesday the pair is little changed from opening levels last printing at £0.5140/45.
  • Having breached cycle lows yesterday, bears can now target the £0.50 handle and the March 2020 low at £0.4795.
  • On the upside bulls look to first reclaim the £0.52 handle, the 20-Day EMA comes in at £0.5198. A break through here opens the high from 20 July (£0.5304).
