AUD/GBP: Recovers Off Cycle Lows

AUD/GBP ticked away from cycle lows registered last week, sitting ~1.2% above the low registered on 28 June.

  • The pair was marginally firmer yesterday, post-RBA pressure was unwound through the European and NY sessions as risk sentiment improved. AUD/GBP last prints at £0.5260/65.
  • On the upside bulls target a break of the 20-Day EMA (£0.5285), this opens the low from June 20 (£0.5309).
  • Bears look to sustain a break below £0.52, this opens the £0.50 handle and lows from March 2020 at £0.4795.
