AUD/JPY: Pares Gains Ahead Of ¥94 Handle

AUD

AUD/JPY had its strongest day in August to date rising ~0.8%, a recovery in US Equities boosted risk sentiment and higher US Tsy Yields weighed on the Yen. Gains were marginally pared ahead of the ¥94 handle in late NY trade.

  • The pair is a touch softer on Tuesday, last printing at ¥93.75/80.
  • Bulls first target the 20-Day EMA (¥94.01), a break through here opens the high from 10 Aug (¥94.94) and the high from 26 July (¥95.90).
  • On the downside bears look to break the low from 18 Aug (¥92.79) which opens the 200-Day EMA (¥92.54) and the post BOJ low from July (¥91.80).
