AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bond futures seemed a little more reluctant to go offered
than their U.S. Tsy counterparts in SYCOM hours, perhaps drawing some support
ahead of today's RBA meeting, with the Bank set to maintain a caution tone,
adding the risks of the bushfires and Coronavirus to its communique.
- YM +2.5, XM +4.5 last, with the AU/U.S. 10-Year spread nearly 5.0bp tighter
vs. settlement, hovering around the 65.0bp mark, on the back of the
aforementioned outperformance/sensitivity to goings on in China.
- Bills print 1-2 ticks higher through the reds.
- The aforementioned RBA decision headlines today's local docket, IBs price a
20% chance of a cut.
