AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bond futures were largely driven by Tsys, with participants
looking through local data and a soft 10-Year ACGB auction.
- YM last +9.5, with XM +11.5, contracts failed to challenge their SYCOM highs.
Curve sits flatter on the day.
- YM/XM deals at 37.5, with the cash equivalent at 33.9bp.
- The AU/U.S. 10-Year yield spread still hovers around the -80bp level.
- On the issuance front, the AOFM noted that it will be selling A$800mn of ACGB
1.50% 21 June 2031 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the World Bank mandated banks for
Kangaroo blockchain issuance and Lloyds priced A$700mn worth of 3-Year floating
& fixed paper at +90bp
- Bills sit 2-8 ticks higher through the reds.
- The RBA decision, due Tuesday, provides the headline risk event for the space
next week.
