ASIAN MARKETS, AUSSIE-YEN
AUSSIE-YEN: AUD/JPY has added 24 pips and last sits at Y77.89 amidst risk-on
flows triggered by renewed optimism re: Sino-U.S. trade relations. Worth noting

print took the shine off of the AUD in early Asia-Pac hours. The Nikkei 225
opened on the front foot and deals 1.3% higher at writing.
- Initial resistance is located at the Dec 31 high of Y78.06, ahead of the
21-DMA at Y78.62. Conversely, bears eye Y77.30, where the rate bottomed
yesterday, and a fall below would allow them to target the psychological Y77.00
level.
