AUSSIE-YEN: The risk-barometer cross has come under downward pressure following
the much weaker than expected local retail sales data. The rate has dropped from
Y88.67 to Y88.36 and currently trades at Y88.40. August retail sales fell 0.6%
m/m, the largest drop since March 2013, July's data was also revised lower, from
0.0% to -0.2%. Support is close-by at Y88.33-29, the level marks hourly support
and 61.8% fib Y88.02-Y88.74, a break opens Y88.02-04 where 3 previous daily lows
are situated.
