Chevron workers are set to start industrial action at the Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG export facilities on Friday 6am AWST (Thursday 23:00 BST), following a 24-hour delay after talks between Chevron and the unions progressed on Wednesday.

  • Stoppages of up to 11 hours are scheduled to begin from Friday morning, and the union alliance on Tuesday said it planned to escalate it to a total strike for two weeks from 14 September.
