BCB Focus Survey, June Budget Balance, Net Debt Due Today

  • The BCB will publish its weekly Focus survey at 1225BST(0725ET), followed by June budget balance data at 1230BST. Analysts expect the primary deficit to narrow to BRL 39.5bn, from a BRL 63.9bn deficit in May, while the overall nominal deficit comes in at BRL 103.4bn. At the same time, net debt is expected to edge up to 62.5% of GDP. Later in the day, total federal debt figures for June will be released at 1900BST(1400ET).
