Bid In Futures Holds

JGBS

Nothing to really add to our earlier commentary for JGBs, with futures briefly showing through overnight session highs during the morning session before nudging away from best levels, hitting the break +19, while 7s continue to outperform on the curve on the back of the bid in futures.

  • Domestic headline flow remains light, outside of Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno somewhat expectedly flagging the need to consider the compilation of a supplementary budget as is necessary, leaving participants to adjust to the broader risk backdrop experienced since Friday’s Tokyo close.
