BP Rotterdam Refinery Dispute Resolved

A labour dispute at BP’s Rotterdam refinery refinery has been resolved after unions approved a new collective labour agreement yesterday.

  • "We are pleased to announce that both union member votes today were in favour of our proposed collective labour agreement," the company said. "This means we will resume all operations immediately to restore business as usual."
  • The workers agreed to the new deal December 2 but it was not officially voted on until yesterday.
  • The refinery was offline through part of November into early-December.
