BP’s Rotterdam Refiner To Fully Restart After Compensation Agreement

Unions and BP have reached an agreement on wages for workers BP' Rotterdam refinery, which had been largely idled this month amid a dispute over wages.

  • An agreement had been reached on a new three-year package including a 6% wage increase, a €4,000 one-time bonus, and the ability to participate in a stock compensation plan, a union spokesperson said
  • Workers are expected to gradually restart the parts of the facility that are still offline ahead of a vote on Wednesday.
  • The restart of the Crude Distillation Unit 4 was scheduled for Monday 5 Dec, a spokesperson previously said.
