Brazil's Guanabara Bay Set for First LNG Cargo in Nearly 5-Months

Brazil’s Guanabara Bay regasification terminal is set to receive its first LNG cargo in nearly five months on June 6 according to Platts vessel tracking.

  • The Celsius Geneva loaded from the Freeport LNG terminal in Texas in early May.
  • The carrier is also expected to deliver a cargo to Argentina on June 22.
  • It is thought the vessel will unload a partial cargo in Brazil before heading to Argentina because of draft restrictions at the latter port
