Brazil’s Oil Exports Rebound in June

Brazil’s exports of crude oil in June rebounded to a 3-month high in June as maintenance at one of its refineries started, according to Bloomberg.

  • Loadings of crude oil were around 1.799m b/d in June, up 11% on the month and 47% on the year.
  • Petrobras began an approximately 70-day maintenance period at the RPBC refinery June 29, taking 178k b/d of capacity offline.
  • China was the top destination for Brazilian crude loadings as 803k b/d, followed by the US at 283k b/d.
