Building On Gains

JGBS

The space firmed during the Tokyo morning, with the 20-Year point outperforming, richening by the best part of 3.0bp, while swaps lagged, allowing swap spreads to widen. Focus continues to fall on the previously mentioned BBG BoJ source piece, with little else of note apparent on the domestic front, outside of softer than expected Q420 capex prints. Futures added to their overnight gains, breaching 151.00 in the process, finishing the morning session 22 ticks above yesterday's settlement levels. This afternoon's 10-Year JGB supply dominates locally.
