Cable operates around session lows,...........>

CABLE
CABLE: Cable operates around session lows, although the range was contained
overnight, to last deal at 1.3360. This comes after Theresa May won over Brexit
rebels from within the Tory party, providing her with a victory in each of
Tuesday's votes surrounding the EU withdrawal bill. She will face additional
votes surrounding the matter today, with most expecting the Commons to come down
on her side again. The BBC's political editor Laura Kuenssberg said that she had
been told by a government source that no actual concessions have been agreed and
the only agreement was to keep talking.
- Elsewhere UK inflation data will hit on Wednesday. CPI inflation dropped to a
13-month low in April, dragged lower by Easter-related effects and an ongoing
unwind from exchange rate sensitive components. May should have seen the last of
the Easter distortions, while upside pressure would have been felt on the back
of higher crude oil prices.
- Support is noted at yesterday's low (1.3342) followed by the 50% retracement
of the move from 1.3205 to 1.3472/initial rally high from Jun 05 (1.3339/33),
while resistance is seen at the June 12 high (1.3425).
