CABLE: Cable sits in familiar territory around $1.2750, a handful of pips higher
on the day after $1.2800 once again capped on Thursday.
- A lack of clarity re: Brexit continues to cloud the outlook, with the CBI set
to warn re: a no deal Brexit's effect on the economy, the City of London
Corporation warning against a second referendum and UK PM May meeting with trade
unions in a bid to drum up support for her Brexit deal.
- GBP/USD needs to gain traction above $1.2800, with a focus on the Dec 31 high
of $1.2815. Bears continue to look for a downside break of $1.2600.
- Nov GDP & output data headlines Friday, although focus remains on next week's
Commons vote on PM May's Brexit deal.
