US TSYS
US TSYS: Cash yields sit 3.3-9.7bp lower across the curve in early Asia trade as
the curve bull steepens.
- T-Notes +0-13 at 135-005, 0-02+ off best levels.
- Risk-off moves have pulled back from ear;y extremes, with a focus on the
potential for broader central bank action at the fore early this week, in the
wake of heightened coronavirus worry and soft China PMI data.
- Also worth noting that Pete Buttigieg has seemingly pulled out of the race to
become the Democratic Party's Presidential candidate, which is seen as a
positive for fellow moderate Joe Biden (adding to his runaway victory in South
Carolina over the weekend), and potentially a negative for Bernie Sanders, which
would be a more "market friendly" outcome.
- Eurodollar futures 10.25-4.5 ticks higher through the reds.
