China Gasoline Stocks Fall to Lowest Since July 2019

Gasoline inventories in China fell by -2.7% w/w to the lowest in figures dating back to July 2019 at 12.7m tons in week to 31 Aug according to OilChem.

  • Diesel stockpiles also fell -3% w/w to 16.52m tons, down from the highest since July 2022 the previous week.
  • China’s state-owned refineries kept runs unchanged at 81.72% of capacity and still at the highest level since November 2021 according to Bloomberg based on OilChem data.
  • Teapots in Shandong province cut runs to the lowest level since July 21 by 1.31 ppt to 60.59% of capacity.
