China-US Relations to Be ‘Reborn': China FM

CHINA PRESS
MNI (Sydney)

The China-U.S. relationship will be "reborn after the storm" following attempts at sabotage by anti-China forces in the U.S., according to comments by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reported in the People's Daily. Speaking at Beijing airport on Monday as he received staff returning from the shuttered Chinese consulate in Houston, Wang said that maintaining dialogues and shunning confrontations are still the "wish of the mainstream" of the two countries. Wang also commended the consular staff for defending China's national interests.
