China’s LFSO Production Down 8.1% in July: OilChem

China’s low-sulphur fuel oil (LFSO) production was 1.21m mt in July, down 8.1% on the month, OilChem data showed.

  • This was attributed to tighter export quotas which reduced refineries’ ability to send additional volumes abroad.
  • Compared with last month, the LSFO production of CNPC, CNOOC, and Sinopec all dropped due to the tighter export quotas, OilChem said.
