GILT SUMMARY
GILT SUMMARY: Conservative leadership frontrunner Boris Johnson has indicated
that he is willing to take part in a televised debate on the BBC with the other
candidates. This is likely to be a pivotal moment for his campaign. If he had
refused to take part his rivals could argue that he would be a weak leader.
However, now that he is taking part, the other candidates now have an
opportunity to close the gap in the leadership race.
