  • Cheniere’s Corpus Christi liquefaction plant currently has three operational trains each with capacity of 5mtpa.
  • First LNG production from its stage 3 expansion is on track for this year, executives said in a Q1 earnings call last month. All seven trains of the additional phase, each with a capacity of 1.49mtpa, are still on track to be online before the end of 2026.
  • The midscale trains 8 and 9 project could have a capacity of about 5mtpa when debottlenecking potential is included. Cheniere has long-term commitments in place for up to 2.8mtpa of LNG including contracts with Equinor, PetroChina, and Chevron.
