Dangote Refinery Started Fuel Exports

Nigeria’s Dangote refinery started fuel exports with one gasoil and one naphtha cargo, shipping information showed.

  • The PS Genova loaded 70,000 tons of gasoil from a jetty at the refinery’s Lekki terminal near Lagos on 2 March, headed for Lome, nearby Togo.
  • A smaller tanker, the Ardmore Sea Lion, loaded 30,000 tons of naphtha from the same facility on 6 March.
  • A third vessel, the Torm Titan, is anchored at the terminal to load more naphtha in the coming days.
  • Dangote will able to process around 650kbpd of crude into refined products once running at full capacity. The refinery is targeting an initial processing rate of 350kbpd.
