Defense Min: Turkey Will Do Whatever Is Necessary to Defend Its Rights vs YPG

    • Says "it is our duty to protect our country. If there are terrorists there, then we have to take action against them." Ankara will not allow the formation of a terror corridor along its southern border with Syria
  • Erdogan set to begin three-day diplomacy tour to African countries on Sunday: Nigeria, Togo & Angola. Turkey's trade with Africa stands at $25.3bn in 2020.
    • And will discuss trade and investment development with all leaders. Talks with Nigeria will be most notable as Turkey's largest sub-saharan partner – especially in the field of hydrocarbons
  • Authorities say phase 3 trials of Turkey's local Turkovac vaccine will be completed "very soon" and be made available for emergency use. Health Ministry says this will be completed by year-end at the latest
