Diesel Cracks Lower On Demand Concerns and Increased Supply

Diesel is again lower in Asia, Europe and US on concerns for lower demand, refining focus on diesel production and a potential increase in product exports from China.

  • Diesel cracks spreads continue lower today following drops of between 16$/bbl and 20$/bbl since last week.
  • Gasoline margins are also down today although have held relatively steady this week after falling considerably during August on disappointing summer demand.

  • US ULSD crack down -1.4$/bbl at 49.25$/bbl
  • EU Gasoil-Brent down -0.8$/bbl at 31.07$/bbl
  • Singapore Gasoil-Dubai down -3.1$/bbl at 24.59$/bbl

  • US gasoline crack down -1.4$/bbl at 15.56$/bbl
  • EU Gasoline-Brent down -0.7$/bbl at 3.21$/bbl
