DTEK Eyes 133MW of Polish Power Storage

Ukrainian firm DTEK is planning to build a 133MW battery storage project in Poland, with construction due to begin this year and operations in January 2027, DTEK said, cited by RenewablesNow.

  • The project will be able to store 532MWh and will provide power to the Polish capacity market starting from 2027 for 17 years.
  • The firm plans to install 1GW of renewables and battery storage in Poland by 2030.
