FOREX: DXY FALLS AS US CONSIDERS LIFTING CHINA TRADE TARIFFS
-DXY fell to new session lows just before the US close on the headline, "*U.S.

-USDJPY spiked to session highs of 109.40, closing in on the 21-dma at 109.42,
before paring some gains into the close.
-EURUSD turned positive on the dollar dip, touching 1.14 before settling at
1.1389 into the US bell
-GBPUSD climbed gradually throughout the day as the market seemed to be further

1.3001 before dipping back below; currently sits 1.2990. A close above 1.30
would have bulls eyeing a further move towards the 200-dma at 1.3094.
-AUSUSD sits above the 100-dma of 0.7172 at 0.7197, as bulls look to close in on
the 76.4% retracement level at 0.7240
