Early Overnight Losses Unwound

JGBS

JGB futures followed the broader tone witnessed in the core global FI space during the overnight session, reversing the early cheapening to finish 11 ticks higher on the day as Omicron worry reverberated around the markets. Local reaction will be eyed at the Tokyo re-open, with U.S. Tsys extending the bid late in the NY day, although Tsy futures now sit a touch shy of their late NY peaks.

  • 10-Year JGB supply and comments from BoJ board member Suzuki headline the domestic economic docket on Thursday.
