East Asia accounted for 53% of global LNG imports during 4Q 2023, up from a share of 51% a year earlier according to ICIS LNG Edge.
- South Asia’s share rose from 7% to 8% last quarter, while Southeast Asia’s share increased to 6%, from 4% in 2022.
- European imports accounted for a share of 29% last quarter, down from 35% a year earlier amid high storage levels.
