EGB Supply: W/C 11 Sep, 2023 (3/3)
EUROZONE ISSUANCE
- Ireland will look to conclude issuance for the week on Thursday with an auction. This is scheduled to be the last Irish auction of 2023. Details will be announced on Monday.
- There are also a number of other countries who could potentially hold syndications in the week: Austria, Greece, Italy and Spain could all come to the market.
NET NOMINAL FLOWS: The week ahead sees E46.5bln of redemptions: E16.0bln German Schatz, E5.8bln of a formerly 7-year Finnish RFGB and E24.8bln of a formerly 15-year BTPei. Coupon payments of E3.2bln are due (E2.7bln Italian and E0.4bln Finnish). This leaves net flows for the week at an estimated negative -E19.8bln. However, note that this only includes announced operations so any syndications on top of the EU-bond and Slovenian USD bond in the week will offset this figure.
