BONDS: /EGBs-GILTS CASH CLOSE: The 10-Yrs outperformed in the UK and German
curves Thursday, with the 10-Yr Gilt yield touching the lowest levels since
early March. Very little reaction overall to the ECB decision, with few
surprises therein. DMO Gilt remit appears to have been taken in stride, also
coming in line with expectations. Periphery spreads were mixed, with Greece
outperforming (after underperforming Wednesday).
** Closing levels:
* Germany: The 2-Yr yield is down 1.4bps at -0.683%, 5-Yr is down 2.3bps at
-0.669%, 10-Yr is down 2.1bps at -0.465%, and 30-Yr is down 0.1bps at -0.025%.
* UK: The 2-Yr yield is down 1.4bps at -0.098%, 5-Yr is down 2.6bps at -0.077%,
10-Yr is down 2.7bps at 0.139%, and 30-Yr is down 1.6bps at 0.666%.
** 10-Yr Periphery EGB Spreads:
* Italian BTP spread up 0.7bps at 165.2bps
* Spanish bond spread unchanged at 86.6bps
* Portuguese PGB spread up 1.1bps at 88.4bps
* Greek bond spread down 3.1bps at 170.2bps
