RWE has started construction of four new solar farms in the UK - a combined capacity of 200MW – with commissioning anticipated in 2026, it said.

  • The firm will build the Copse Lodge, Fraddon, Laynes Wood and Wick PV Farms.
  • Once complete, RWE’s operational PV projects in the UK will rise to 11.
  • The company will invest €8bn over 2024-2030 into low-carbon projects to reduce carbon emissions and raise energy security, it added.
