 The latest weekly German EUA CAP3 auction cleared at €63.18/ton CO2e, compared with €64.89/ton CO2e in the previous auction, according to EEX.

  • The cover ratio stood at 1.94 compared to 1.48 in the previous auction. This is above the five-year average and within the five-year normal.
  • The mean price stood at €63.56/t CO2e sharply down from €66.58/t CO2e and the median price was at €62.95/t CO2e compared to €64.85/ton CO2e.
  • There was a total of 23 bids with 19 successful from 22 bids bidders in the previous auction.
  • The EU ETS Dec24 is trading higher today with gains in natural gas and coal.
  • EUA DEC 24 up 1.4% at 63.71 EUR/MT
