The latest UKA ICE auction cleared at lower at £34.91/ton CO2e, down from the previous auction £39.20/ton CO2e according to ICE.

  • The cover ratio was at 1.688, compared with 1.577 in the previous auction.
  • There was a total of 21 bids with 18 selected bids.
  • UKA Dec24 allowances have continued the trend lower since mid-September, with prices falling sharply last week after the UK government issued a proposal to extend the current system of allocating free allowances under the UK ETS scheme by one year.
