Eni Expects Egyptian LNG Exports November

Eni expects to be able to export LNG from Egypt in November according to its CEO Claudio Descalzi.

  • He said he was unsure if gas was flowing from Israel. Egyptian officials said flows had gone to zero in an announcement Sunday.
  • He said that European gas demand had been pushed towards LNG because of the Russia situation following the invasion of Ukraine.
  • He added that production from Zohr, the giant gas field in the east Med is as expected.
