EPNG Declares Force Majeure at New Mexico Compressor Station

NATGAS

El Paso Natural Gas (EPNG) has declared a force majeure at the Caprock Compressor Station in New Mexico, following an equipment failure, the company said in an announcement.

  • The impact on gas flows appears to be small. Effective July 22, the capacity on the Caprock N constraint will be reduced by 136,452 Dth/d (~3.8 mcm/d).
