Equinor, Polenergia Inched Closer to 1.44GW Polish Wind Build

Companies Equinor and Polenergia have signed reservation agreements and preliminary works for parts needed for their 720MW Baltyk II and 720MW Baltyk III wind farms, with final agreements for the projects planned for the end of August, Polenergia said, cited by ISB News.

  • The agreements were signed between suppliers Belgium NV and Sif Netherlands BV and will allow for the suppliers to begin work and secure resources for the project.
  • Both wind farms are anticipated to be operational in 2026.
