EUR/PLN Keeps Hovering Above 4.25

EUR/PLN failed to extend losses past 4.25 yesterday as an expectations-beating US CPI print prompted the pair to erase its initial losses, with this morning bringing some stabilisation around familiar levels. The rate trades flat at 4.2658 and bears look for a breach of the aforementioned 4.25 figure before setting their sights on Feb 2020 lows of 4.2371/62. Bulls keep an eye on the 50-EMA, which crosses at 4.3085.

  • POLGB yield curve has bear steepened this morning. Meanwhile, the WIG20 Index is a touch softer, holding close to its recent cyclical highs.
  • In the absence of local event risk, the focus turns to the ECB monetary policy decision.
